    Abstract: 本文即嘗試由組織理論中「成功蘊含失敗」與「失敗導致轉型」這兩個簡要的命題，勾勒出國民黨組織變遷與台灣民主化歷程之間的辯證性關係。台灣在民主化歷程中，雖然也出線了政黨離心競爭導致劇烈對抗等嚴重問題，國民黨在失去執政權後，終能更徹底地轉換為更佳民主的體質，以建設性的角色重新在政治社會中站穩競爭者的角色，讓台灣的政治得以更接近學界對民主的高標準要求，展現其組織生命的韌性。
