    Abstract: 為配合中國臺灣“《海岸法》( 草案) ”的保護區及防護區的劃設，中國臺灣新竹縣接受中國臺灣“內政部營建署”的補助，委託中華大學調查新竹縣海岸動物相的分佈。這個地區的動物是由哺乳綱、鳥綱、兩栖綱、爬行綱、蛛形綱、條鰭魚綱、昆蟲綱、軟甲綱、顎足綱、雙殼綱、腹足綱的動物分佈形成。採用快速評估法，計算Shannon －Wiener 多樣性指數( 歧異度指數) 並進行分析，求得克利金法推估的套圖共計24 張，包括各綱及匯總後的動物多樣性圖，以夏、秋兩季呈現。研究區中共有11 綱、41 目、127 科、245 種動物
