Abstract:	本文探討專利檢索與分析對於企業、研發機構、學術單位等等不同性質的專利權人，在智慧財產經營與管理上扮演著決策參考的重要角色，另一方面尤其重要的功能是尋找創新研發方向。專利檢索的步驟與流程不外乎如下「釐清檢索的目的、界定檢索的範圍、善用檢索的工具、客觀的檢索方法、呈現檢索的結果」，而專利分析方面，首先利用美國專利資料庫對各專利指標進行資料蒐集彙整與計算，再進行指標與研究樣本之因素分析、集群分析、與對應分析。其次利用文獻中的專利指標進行相對發展效能評估，成功地篩選出：專利數目、專利成長率、專利被引證次數、引證指 Patent search and analysis plays a dominant role for these intellectual property right owners to manage their patents，no matter they come from industries、research organizations or academic units. It’s another function will help to find the R&D direction
