Abstract:	台灣近年偏遠地區人口不斷流失，再加上少子化影響，學齡人口大幅減少，使得國民小學面臨被整併的危機。本研究經由相關文獻及訪談，提出以「聯合學校」為基礎之偏遠地區國民小學經營模式，避免廢併校造成之不良影響。本研究首先以對國小現職校長進行訪談，其次採用問卷調查法，選擇臺中市十所偏遠地區國小進行調查研究。結果發現：家長與教師都認為偏遠地區國民小學裁併、廢校對社區發展更加不利，也認為廢併校政策增加學生就學不便，使學生受教育權益受到侵害。教職員對本研究所提之學校經營模式整體態度偏向同意。教師問卷第二部分對偏遠地區國民小 In Taiwan, population of remote areas is constantly decreasing.
