    Abstract: 本論文藉由太宰治中期作品〈美少女〉，主要分析近代日本身體觀中女性身體之部分。本論文關注以下兩點作品內容之問題。一是〈美少女〉中男性作家注視少女裸體之方式，二是其對少女身體過度之讚美。配合同一時代之資料分析的結果，首先可理解到近代日本的新裸體觀顯示了「裸體」與「性」二要素之緊密連結，且羞恥心亦伴隨此新觀念而出現。此外並確認了近代日本以西洋人體格為理想之審美觀，以及在二戰時期年輕女性的身體與結婚、生育之密切關連性。
