    Abstract: 建築物的生命週期至少長度達四、五十年,從建材生產、建造、使用、拆除等各個階段,都會消耗不少的能源,其中尤以長期使用的空調、照明等日常耗能量佔最大部分,綠建築標章中之『日常節能指標』即是以空調與照明耗電做為評估對象。在夏季炎熱的台灣,常因幾種因素導致空調負荷過大:
    1.開窗面積與採光通風之平衡。
    2.建築外殼或建材,無法有效隔熱或散熱。
    3.室內外氣流不流通,無法有效換氣,調節溫度。
    因此適當的開窗設計是建築節能的首要計畫,且玻璃的使用對於隔熱也有相當大的幫助。因此在建築外殼上做正確的節能配置,可節省三、四
