Abstract:	因應高鐵通車後之衝擊，台鐵須轉型為中短程運輸，在積極推動鐵路改建建設下，目前已將「台中計畫」納入為「新十大建設」之「臺鐵捷運化」項下辦理，豐原車站臨時軌道切換為臺中計畫施工重點之一，由於受限豐原車站腹地及為維持永久軌良好配置與施工安全，需調整既有豐原車站軌道配置，改建車站設施及舖設臨時軌道以維持既有臺鐵局之營運，進行後續高架施工。本文以台中地區豐原段臨時軌工程進行工程實務探討，在得標廠商未曾接觸過鐵路工程，對鐵路施工之經驗不足下，主辦單位自辦監造如何協助與監造施工，在安全、專業、績效與溝通如何達到平衡， Abstract—To minimize possible impact after the High Speed Rail starts operations, the Taiwan Railway must transform itself to focus on the short-range transportation market.
