    Abstract: 摘要
    目前台灣記錄的蕨類有37科145屬約650種，約佔了台灣原生植物種類的七分之一，可見蕨類在台灣的植物種類中佔有相當重要的位置，然而蕨類在台灣的景觀造園上，最常的應用還是停留在以筆筒樹營造庭園亞熱帶氛圍，以腎蕨當做地被的階段。台灣這650種蕨類隱藏著多樣貌的景觀美質條件。蕨類依生長特性可分為著生型、岩生型、攀緣型、垂吊型、地被型、水生型、溼地型等，依生態環境需求可分為向陽、遮蔭、半遮蔭、高濕度、排水良好等，這些特性是蕨類造園應用的基礎。
