Abstract:	公共藝術讓空間的視覺品質提升，除了在生活中提供賞心悅目的藝術品外，更拉近民眾與藝術的距離，進而產生互動及對話，這也是政府近年來為推廣生活美學所努力的目標，但公共藝術卻常因規劃設計不當，無法達成預期的效果。本研究探討內湖捷運線公共藝術缺失。以鐘芷芳所建立之捷運線公共藝術設置評估架構來探討這些缺失。本研究為評估結果多數車站的公共藝術設置在「提升機能」、「可見度」、「空間」、「認同感」、「教育推廣」等5個評估項目多數站無達成之項目。針對該等缺失，專家建議就「提升機能」乙項，可藉由整體規劃作業方式加以改 Public art can enhance the visual quality of space.
