    Abstract: 頭前溪流域之下游兩岸平原分別為新竹市與新竹縣治所在的竹北市，這兩大都市由於不斷的開發，已經對生態造成極大的改變。特別是竹北市的六家地區，在開發成為高鐵站後，土地快速都市化，減少大量的綠地空間，破壞原有的生物棲地。即使在都市中規劃鄰里公園與都會公園，但對於生物原有的棲息空間而言，這些綠地仍是微不足道。
    以整體環境來看，六家地區為頭前溪流域的一部份，在土地都市化後，原有的棲地改變，生態廊道被阻隔，整體區域變成適合都市的生物，而比較能夠與舊有或整體環境配合的生物多為具有飛行性能力的昆蟲或鳥類。因此，對於都市生態
