Abstract:	生態城市、永續城市等倡導與地球和平共存、創造永續生活環境的相關論點與研究，從19世紀被提及而開始萌芽後，直到21世紀的今天，似乎已被奉為國際間城市規劃的圭臬，各國無不趨之若鶩的擬定相關政策，並爭相邀請著名的學者專家提出符合該城市或該國的生態城市指標。加以近年來地球浩劫不斷，也開始省思長久以來對這塊土地的予取予求是否已讓大自然開始反撲。目前全球有許多城市漸漸朝向永續都市發展，從提倡使用太陽能與風能等可再生能源、廢棄物回收科技，以及步行、腳踏車及大眾運輸工具取代私人運具等，也能窺見一些生態城市的跡象。惟地小人
